using alt codes in Adobe Connect

I've noticed that some "traditional" alt codes work in Connect (using the text draw tool) while others give different symbols than expected.

For example, alt0215 gives the multiplication symbol, but alt960, which is "supposed to" produce pi, gives a sideways L.

I've noticed the disparity in other applications as well (e.g. alt960 produces pi in wordpad, but the sideways L in notepad).

Is there a comprehensive list somewhere of alt codes for Connect? If not, someone should publish one! I teach math in Connect all the time and being able to produce commonly used symbols would be very helpful.
