Two Missing Rudimentary Features of Creative Cloud

The problem (as per sloppily documented on X)...:

The drive allocated for downloads fills up (to max!) whenever I use the update func in Creative Cloud.

This is because my internet connection isn't entirely stable and the program (CC!) lacks allocation of temp download space and garbage cleanup func after failed download.

Here's a description:

{

1. Update in CC starts.

2. Partial download in temp folder (drive!).

3. Operation breaks because of failed connection.

4. Partial (now failed!) download sits untouched. (becomes garbage!)

5. New download begins!

}

This loop quickly accumulates garbage.

The program features install, syncing and asset download locations.

But no "download to this folder!" can be seen in the program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No other program on my computer fills up my temp folder like CC does.

No other program on my computer fills up my temp folder like CC does.

No other program on my computer fills up my temp folder like CC does.

No other program on my computer fills up my temp folder like CC does.

Pls fix.

Hi @Jon3405317693zq,

Thanks for reaching out. The Creative Cloud desktop app uses the AdobeTemp folder under Windows and other Adobe apps to temporarily save available updates or complete application downloads. In contrast, the download and install process goes through the CC desktop app. The Local/Temp folder for your user account contains useful logs like amt3, oobelib, and PDApp logs, which can be used by Adobe technical support for investigation purposes on encountering application malfunctioning issues.

You may clean the temporary storage folder without affecting the functionality of working apps.

You should sign back into the Creative Cloud desktop app once after deleting the temp folder.

Thank you,

Neelam
