Weird Background

I'm getting this weird background on my Creative Cloud Home app on my laptop. It changes around as I mouse over and it's very annoying. I see this as a bug, but maybe it is some ill conceived feature. Anyone else getting this? Can it be turned off?

reset your cc desktop app.  if that fails, update your graphics card driver to a non-gamer version.
