Hello,
Before this inevitably gets taken down, allow me to vent about how Adobe is one of the worst companies to exist. When I first got into digtial media design in college, the CCS was pushed to every student so that we could complete projects.. IF you made the mistake of buying any app for a monthly fee, or assuming that you could cancel without paying an early cancellation fee, you're sorely mistaken. AND, AND, Adobe loves to do this thing where, upon trying to cancel your fee, they try to keep you paying for their service, so they offer you a discount price for the next few months, or even just a few months free! How sweet of them! Hey, I have an insane idea haha, why don't you just take the money that you wouldv'e lost giving me a discount/free months, and just [cursing removed] REFUND ME FOR THE TIME I AM NOT USING THE PROGRAM. Anyways, [cursing removed] thank you for the time 🙂

well, pay attention. when you purchase an annual subscription paid monthly it's not much different than leasing an apartment. ue, you're on the hook for one year.

Don't you think it's a little concerning that design software is locking you in like an appartment lease?

I'm aware that they give you everything flat out, but the amount of college kids that don't realize this that get pushed into getting annual plans (but only the first year free!!) is a little weird. It's the reason there's currently a class action lawsuit against Adobe for this exact thing: https://www.classaction.org/news/class-action-lawsuit-claims-adobe-fails-to-clearly-disclose-subscri... . You also didn't seem to mention the fact that they clearly can part with a bit of the money you're supposed to pay, but choose to let you only do that by first trying to cancel. But you know what, you might be right about the apartment analogy! I actually signed an apartment lease for 16 months a few weeks ago, and get this! They let me save money each month by first trying to break my lease! Haha. Oh no wait, that's not true at all. That doesn't happen.

read carefully before signing up for anything.
adobe's no different than a gazillion other companies: they're not charitable organizations.
