Hi,
I have am having trouble with changing the language of my psd app on desktop. Normally it is in english but after the holidays it has changed to Danish (see attached file). When I check the Creative Cloud app --> account --> settings --> apps --> language - it is set to English (see attached file).
How do I change the language of Photoshop to be English? I really hope someone can help me as the support articles only shows the solution I mentioned above - changing the language via Creative Cloud app - however this one is set to English already.
Best,
Mie
uninstall your current app that's using an incorrect language. then follow these instructions to install with the correct language: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/change-installed-language.html

This works as a solution! However, it's still annoying to do this for all my creative cloud apps.
It also seems like the language changes to my windows language (swedish) every time I update photoshop, illustrator, or indesign even though I have the language set to english. So basically, if I choose to update any program that I tend to use, I need to reinstall the app entirely? That takes a lot of time away from anything else that I could do

the update should follow your cc desktop preferences. ie, if the cc desktop updates it may lose your language preferences. check after a cc desktop update. but once those preferences are set to your preferred install language, any app update (eg, photoshop) should use that language.

i am well aware. my language preference was still english, yet my updated apps had changed language to swedish. not changing any language setting and simply reinstalling, got the language back to english.
the intent with my previous post was to point out a potential bug. as you just stated, my program SHOULD use that language, yet it didn't upon updating the program. i've had this bug occur one time on my laptop this week, and once on my desktop back in may.

to report bugs or ideas or wishes to adobe:
for applicable apps, use https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/x-productkb/global/how-to-user-voice.html
for others, use https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
if neither show a place to report the issue, just leave it here. that's the best you can do.

When I orinally found this post it was listed under the "Bug Reports" section on the Adobe Community forum.
If they have a forum called "bug report", which also serves as the top google result when you search "adobe bug report" Adobe may want to indicate that the "Bug Report Forum" is NOT a place where you should post bug reports. Maybe they should rename it? Include a link to the real bug report system somewhere? Instead of relying on community experts to guide others toward their bug report system.
That creates a large barrier for entry and prevents bug reports from many users, such as myself who don't want to spend 30+ minutes to simply find the correct bug report URL.
Thank you for understanding.
Any perceived unfriendlyness is not directed to you but rather a way to express my dissatisfaction.
