Is there an email virus going around disguised as an Adobe Survey?

I recieved an email from Adobe Customer Research titleed "Earn money for offering your feedback to Adobe" 

Typed in my Birthday and my system shut down.

Since your question is not about Photoshop, I have moved your post to Creative Cloud Desktop.

Can you give us the actual address of the sender? You can see it if you hover over the name or choose "Forward". We also need to see a screenshot of the letter.

We can't tell from what you said if it is from Adobe or if it is a phishing email from a scammer. The "earn money" part sounds suspicious. 

You can send the email to phishing@adobe.com . The best way is to start a new email, then drag this one from your inbox into the new email so it becomes an attachment. This way it includes everything.

sounds like a scam but if you didn't download anything, there's unlikely to be a virus involved.
