Prevent Creative Cloud opening when I open Adobe Illustrator

I have a subscription to Adobe Illustrator.  I have disabled the creative cloud autostart up in task manager.  I have set my creative cloud preferences to not launching.  Its still starts everytime I click on my app on my desktop.  I tried to uninstall it but it won't let me because AI is installed.

How do I prevent this very irritating app from starting?

go to your illustrator executable and create a shortcut.  move that shortcut to where you want it.
