I would like to know how to remove my full Adobe C C off of my internal HD & add it to my External HD which has much more room.  Getting error messages that I nned to clean up the scratch disk , says it's full.  Won't moving all of the Adobe files to my external drive help ? I use the Windows 10 OS , I have the Adobe Creative Cloud program that has LR,  PS, Bridge, others that I do not use.  My External HD is a Seagate Plus with 1TB.

the cc desktop app must be installed on the os drives

the cc apps can be installed onto a different drive, but using a removable drive, while it can be done, is problematic.

production files can be moved to an external/removable drive.

I'd start by moving the Photoshop scratch space in Photoshop preferences. This, all by itself, will be many times the total space for all the apps you use.
