It should be possible to synchronize toolbar preferences and locations across devices. I use a desktop at work and a laptop at home and it would be really helpful if the windows/toolbars appeared in the same positions.
and i'm sure there would be a load of people screaming if this were done be default because they want things setup differently in different settings, so you would be to have this as a selectable option. and then some users would want some preferences/defaults to sync but not others so you would need a number of options, at a minimum.
