Activated 1 year Subscription is not showing in my account. My renew date hasn't changed.

I just activated a 1 year subscription to extend my Adobe Photography plan an extra year.  The redemption code said it worked and took me through to my logged in account no problem, but the renew date hasn't changed.  I've tried logging out & in again and restarting my computer.  The email address linked to Amazon is the same as the email address logged with my Creative Cloud account.

I just checked & it says the redemption code has been used.  So it accepted the code, but hasn;t added it to my account. It still wants me to renew in a few months time, when it would have needed renewing if I hadn't just added a year.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can make sure my account has extended by a year as it should do.  Thanks.

it's taking 1-2days (and that might be business days) for adobe's end to update.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Thanks.  I googled my issue and it directed me to similar posts in here.  I couldn't find the exact  answer, so asked the question.

In the end it did take a couple of days to show on my account.  I've never used an activation code for any software where it isn't instant before, so looked like it had failed.  Which was why I was looking for an answer.

If anyone else is looking to see why their code failed and their software renew date hasn't updated, it's worth waiting 48 hours.  It seems to be a bit of a clunky system behind the scenes in modern standards, but does go through in the end.

Thanks to kglad for providing the answer I needed.

glad to hear it worked out but yes, at least, a warning/info popup that it will take a couple of days for redemption codes to register at adobe, seems (imo) to be the minimum that should be provided to redeemers.
