Adobe CC background apps overheat and crash my Mac OVER AND OVER again

Adobe background spying is crashing my computer every 3 minutes

Adobe background apps are causing my mac to overheat and crash ~ every 3 minutes. Often more frequently.

When I force quit them it stops. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will never purchase ANYTHING from adobe again unless this is fixed ASAP.

These background apps are NOT necessary as the programs still work when they are forced closed by external force quit programs.

Does ANYONE have a work-around or solution for this?

Adobe, you have absolutely destroyed any reputation you had left when you forced everyone to join/use your creative cloud data theft program. Stop immediately.

If your Mac crashes from high CPU, it has a fault. Fans are supposed to come on and CPU limited to stop a crash. Contact Apple, unless you mean something else by "crash".

No other apps that kick on the fan and have equal or higher CPU usage cause this fault.

What happens is the fan starts running extremely high (only when the adobe SPYING apps are running in the background), then the screen goes black. It usually does not completely shut down the computer but is seemingly the equivalent of sleep mode.

Again, NO other app that causes as much CPU usage or memory causes this. ONLY the Adobe background apps.

AGAIN, the ACTUAL adobe programs DO NOT CAUSE THIS PROBLEM. Lightroom, Photoshop, Bridge, WORK FINE when these background spying apps are forced to quit.

Adobe and its accolades pretending that EVERYONE I know having their macs not work properly after updating to CC is insulting and ridiculous. It is a ADOBE SOFTWARE problem. Not 9 out of 10 macs.

Apps can't say "switch on the fan". The Mac system turns on the fan if it gets hot. It gets hot not just from CPU use but from GPU use, which Adobe apps are efficient at doing.

If the screen goes black it sounds like a fault with the Mac. Unless your house is like 40 degrees.

This again, is a lie. More proof it is the Adobe spying apps causing this problem is that the problem continues even after all Adobe ACTUAL apps are quit, if the SPYING apps are left running.

But, if the SPYING apps are force quit, even while using the ACTUAL programs, it does not happen.

These spying apps (and yes that is what they are) are the problem. Looking at threads and doing differential diagnosis and hearing anecdotes from other users prove this.

Address the actual issue or watch a competitor crush adobe as we all leave.

Remove the spying apps entirely and this ceases to be an issue. They are unnecessary as the fact that when continually force quit the actual programs continue working.

Like, how many times do we have to tell you condescending jerks that THE ADOBE PROGRAMS DO NOT CAUSE THIS PROBLEM.

It is the background apps that cause this problem.

The ACTUAL adobe programs run FINE when the CC spying apps are continual forced quit with force quit applications.

REMOVE THE UNNCESSARY BACKGROUND APPS FROM THE CODE. Allow users to CHOOSE whether to run them or not.

Perhaps you should tell Adobe rather than just debate with fellow users. Even if we agree with you that won't make a bean of difference. Post it here, and encourage others to vote: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
