Today I started getting "acivation limit reached" when opening my CC apps (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop). The wierd thing is, it's showing multiple sign-ins on the same device – which is the device I'm on and was already active going back a few weeks when I got this new laptop.
The amount of duplicate sign-ins varied from app to app with as many as 6+.
To solve, I simply "deactivated" one of the duplicate sign-ins and then the app opend up.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes I have the same problem, first time it appearde this morning. The annoying thing is, that is keeps popping up every once in a while, and since all of the activations are from the same device it always closes all the programs whenever I sign one off.

Yes, but I was not using them today.

vpns are known to trigger this. ie, each vpn is recognized as a different computer.

But it's only one VPN and it sometimes shows up to 6 machines.
I've had the VPN for years and never had any issues with the cloud so far.

I'm having the exact same problem, and I do not have a VPN. I have two machines, and the warning dialogue showed five of one of my machines, one of the other. I cleared all the duplicates this morning on that machines. Now I'm getting the same issue on my other machine with duplicates of both. I have to assume this is an Adobe issue if we are all getting this, and it just started today. I wonder what it will take for them to figure out that there is an issue.

it may be some combination of factors because not all of us are seeing this.

Since this only seems to have surfaced today, it seems to me, admittedly no techie, that something changed in the way the Creative Cloud is working. I wonder who we have to reach out to to get this resolved.
