Hallo liebe Community,
Dennis
The culprit is a corrupted site style, specifically in the mobile media query. Possibly caused by conflicting customizations over time. See screenshot.
You could reset your global site styles to their default settings
Or switch to a new Theme. Currently there are 12 Themes to choose from described below.

Try reducing the zoom on your smartphone to normal or 100% magnification.

It's normal zoom mode. I checked the the page from other smartphones and found the same problem.
Also when I edit the page in portfolio browser application and switch between devices it happens.
Here on the left you see a correct view and on the right when I switch to smartphone view the text gets compressed and unreadable.

The problem did not exist when I first started the page about 3 years ago but for the past year it persists. I also tried to add new text containers with new fonts with new line spacing but the problem persists. I wonder if there might be a fix without having to program the whole page from the start?

in a pc or mac browser, try copying your text from the properly displayed webpage and pasting it into the textfield in your portfolio editor. that's all i did.

I tried that several times. Interesting fact: when I paste the properly displayed text into the textcontainer in the editor it gets displayed with too narrow line spacing. I then fix the line spacing so that it looks correct, but when I then display it on the smartphone it again is too narrow.

I believe you and I also made the experience when starting a completely new portfolio site the problem does no longer exist even though I work in the same browser. But for this site which contains over 20 pages that each have several containers of text and image I would unlikely build it all again from scratch 😞

Hi Nancy! Thanks so much! That helped. I reset the global site style to the standard setting and now I have to do some adjustments that went missing but the text is displayed properly.👍
