Any recommended cloud storage systems in place of Creative Cloud Sync?

I've been using adobe tools for the past 2 years - all the while using the creative cloud sync system and thinking "Neat, this is pretty handy". Now that it is being discontinued, I'm interested in moving my files into a different sotrage system. Here is what I'm looking for and some details of my workflow:

1. Easy to share with others - my company uses Google Drive as their main hub. (I'm the only one who accesses these files internally however, so I'm interested in finding a system that works well for me but is also easy to share files externally).

2. Automatic updating - not even sure if this is possible. I'm a Mac user and was thinking about iCloud. Each time I save, would it be automatically updated on all my devices? This is my planned work around so far.

3. Storage mindful - I don't want to clog up all the storage on my actual computer.

I've heard people say dropbox is a good option, but I don't have a subscription. Any recommendations on each and how have they worked for you? Interested in hearing some other's workflows.

Thanks!

Does your company use the Drive For Desktop option through Google?

I am working on moving my files to that, and it sounds like something similar to the Creative Cloud Files that are being removed. i.e. a local folder accessible through documents which can sync across multiple devices.

again, search using google (or some other search engine).  no one here is going to be able to easily determine what works best for you.

We have multiple external drives for data storage. For cloud backup & file recovery service, we have been using Backblaze for many years. It's affordably priced at $7/month for unlimited storage and has rescued us from data loss on multiple occasions.  Backblaze auto syncs all or selected drives to the cloud each night.  A++

Occasionally, I use Google Drive for file sharing.
