I subscribed for a free trial of "Creative Cloud All Apps 100GB" but forgot to cancel it since year 2021. Adobe has kindly refunded me the charge for year 2022 (really appreciated that!). Can I get the refund for 1st year (2021) as well? The invoice history can be still viewed from my account.

Forgetting to cancel and not using does not mean that Adobe will do a refund... the same as if you rent a car and then park it in your garage without driving it... you agreed to the contract

Wrong advice from support... other users in a public forum do not have access to your account and can do nothing for an account or payment problem
