Thanks for the reply, I have had a look and it is asking me to add a payment method as it wants me go onto a payment plan. I bought the original plan as a pre paid license for one year and I don't want to have to pay on a subscription basis. The account says my current subscription is now suspended.
Is there anything I can do?

if money has been taken by the amazon vendor, ask them for help or for your money back.
and generally, amazon vendors sell redemption codes. is that what you purchased?

It was bought from Amazon UK and was sold by Amazon EU and I checked that it was ok for the UK before I bought it.
It says its a product key, is that the same thing ??

adobe doesn't offer product keys any longer. was that supposed to be a one-time pay for a "lifetime" license?
if so, for what product/version?

did you get a "redemption" code from the amazon vendor?

it says product key but I suppose it could be the same thing
its 6 blocks with 4 characters in each block so that seemed to look ok to me, so I am totally perplexed as to why I'm having the issue, unless adobe have blocked the account and I can't add to it......

I found where to add a product code and the code doesn't work - its says its invalid
There's a bit to redeem new code as well - its says an error occured
And the other way as per Amazon's direction I get this -
