Can't download any Adobe Cloud files

I get emails to learn how to do XYZ. I click on the link and it takes me to the cloud. Then I'm asked to install PS or AI or ID or whatever which is already on my machine. Very frustrating that the assets never open. I can't download the test file or open in the appropriate app. Not sure but it's an ongoing problem and the end result is I rarely bother with behance.

When you opened the CC app as the instructions state, were you able to open the appropriate Adobe app from there?

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

I clicked on download installer even though I already have AI on my HD. Once I did that the file opened.
