Today it tried to update all my apps to their current version, including Photoshop, which is crucial to my job and not only is it constantly failing to update them, but it also deleted everything.
Needless to say this is a tremendously big issue, because I simply cannot work.

Hello,
Error 183 is due to issues with the Antivirus software, try by disabling or better uninstalling the Antivirus software you might have installed and then try downloading. Once the installation is done you can reinstall your Antivirus software as well. Also make sure you have your Creative Cloud application updated as well

I don't have an antivirus installed. I also disabled the entire Windows 10 security defender. Still won't work.

Well? Nothing else I can try? I really need to start work.
I'm so fed up. I've been throwing so much money into this service for so many years and every major update literally breaks up everything. Why in the hell would an update for the client remove all my apps in the first place???

If nothing works then i would suggest run Creative Cloud Cleaner application. Clean everything and then try the installation

Ran a malware check on my PC and discovered there was this Segurazo Antivirus in my Processes. I run on a recent clean install of Windows. I've got no clue how that got there.
I still find it really random that malware specifically prevents Adobe apps from working, but there's that. Got lucky by fixing it this fast compared to other times when updates were delivered broken by the first-party and had to wait days for there to be a fix, like the recent Adobe Dimension fiasco.

Yes, luckily this time the problem was on my end, which resulted in a rather quick fix.
