Creative cloud error "The application CC is not open anymore."

I am constantly getting the error: The application CC is not open anymore.

I can solve it by reinstalling, but I really don't want to do this every time I start up...

I am running MACOS BIG SUR.

Any solutions would be helpful.

Thank you!

James, is the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application becoming damaged every time the computer is rebooted?  Do you run any system utilities or file optimizers?  You can use the information https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-items-automatically-when-you-log-in-mh15189/mac to review the items that open automatically at startup.

Thanks for the response.

I do not run any utilities...

I can disable CC at startup I guess, but I've used this feature since its inception.

James, is there anything listed under the Login items within System Preferences?

If you are running macOS without any security utilities, I recommend you run an anti-virus/malware tool to verify that the system has not been compromised.
