Creative Cloud Folder is un-usable

Since CC is randomly deleting or moving my files, I don't see how I can use the Creative Cloud Folder on my computer for syncing to the cloud. Having to recreate files is pretty tiresome, not to mention a total waste of time.

Somehow some of my files are gone from my hard drive. They are not in the trash. There is no archived folder in my online cloud. They are just gone.

I am moving everything out of the CC folder on my computer and deleting the folder.

BUT, am I missing some setting or something? Is there a way to tell the cloud that this computer is the one that is the "mother ship" and to not delete anything off it?
