Adequate probably sums it up. It's a low end laptop which will offer modest performance. 16GB Ram would have been good but the system should be adequate as it is.

You can sign up for a free 7 day Trial of Creative Cloud and see what you think of the performance.

If you're happy you'll be automatically switched to a paid Cloud Plan. Nothing for you to do.

If not, remember to cancel within 7 days to avoid being charged for a Cloud plan.

I'd worry most about the tiny SSD. Where do you plan to keep your work?

That's really the fun-breaker. You would need at least putting your user data on an external drive. 256Gb will be just enough to hold the system and some user programs, but as space use tends to grow with the time, you will soon hit the hard limits. I would be prepared to change it for a 500Gb or better, a 1Tb drive.

Memory: I've just upgraded my daughter's laptop from 8 to 12 Gb, which is the maximum her laptop can afford. My laptop is 16Gb, and I'm hitting from time to time the walls. Check the upgrade possibilities. You may not need to upgrade now, but somewhere in the future it may be necessary, especially if you run concurrently the programs.
