Disable Automatic Creative Cloud File Downloads

New Here ,
Aug 20, 2020 Aug 20, 2020

I am part of a shared CC folder with some of my coworkers with ~50GB of files. These are automatically downloading to my Mac and taking up all my storage. How can I disable these automatic downloads?

don't share folders you don't want.

Not that simple. Here's the scenario. I have a work computer and a personal home computer. I have shared files neccesary for work. My work has asked that I put adobe creative cloud on my personal computer in case there is a work lockout or ransowmware, etc. I just need the applications on my personal computer, NOT the backup files (IT is responsible for that).
I'm asking how do I turn off the shared folders on my personal machine, but leave them on my work machine. Do you have any snarky replies for that?

sorry about that.

you could try pausing syncing in your cc desktop app, but i don't think that will apply to shared files.
