Everytime I open Creative Cloud now, I get a window saying "Try our new AI blah-blah-blah" and the button says something like "Take me to this new service" The X to close it is cleverly hidden in a picture, so it's hard to find. I figured if I said no, 5 - 10 times, eventually it would go away. But it doesn't. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?
It's an extra step in my process and as you can see, I never read these kinds of ads and announcements anyway, just hunt for the close button!
I'd recommend reaching out to and working with our support directly as a next step. They can be reached here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

Support ended up having me run the repair thing in the uninstaller. But I didn't make up that ad. I didn't invent it. It's real and not a single Adobe employee has confirmed it exists which is really effing weird.

i don't see that, but you could try disabling notifications>adobe communications in your cc desktop app preferences.

This is not the correct answer. Why are people allowed to say this is the correct answer? Now no one will comment with the correct answer! InDesign makes up pay and pay up the nose and they can't even provide tech support? I hate this company so much and I pray someday my clients will accept Affinity!

I disabled ALL Notifications boxes from CC Desktop Preferences.
To close the app on Windows, hold down Ctrl + W.
I also removed CC Desktop App from launching on Windows Start Up.

Please make sure your Creative Cloud Desktop Application is up to date, then restart the application after turning off the notification setting to take effect.

I have had my notifications settings set to off from the beginning. This is a new thing and it's driving me crazy.
This isn't a "notification" as you must know. It isn't even covered in the kinds of notifications that are in the notification panel. How do I shut this stupid thing off? I hate AI and apparently, I've been magically chosen to have this thing appear so how do I shut it off?????

where is the "x" to close this?

It's not a banner. It's a giant splash screen that appears when CC opens and I cannot do anything until it disappears. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please stop responding.

Can you, as an Adobe employee, confirm this thing exists? So far the only solution proposed is by one person who is one of those people that replies ot every single thread and has no idea what I'm talking about.
As an Adobe employee, I'd hope you'd have slightly more info. Also if I'm hallucinating, I really need to get to a doctor soon.

I'm not an employee, just a fellow Creative Cloud user.
That said, I do not see what's depicted in your screenshot.
I don't know if this matters or not but I have:
1. a paid CC All Apps Plan,
2. no HOME screens enabled,
3. no BETA products currently installed.

Strangely enough, I am getting similar every time I try to open a PDF. It goes on about streamlining my productivity, yet it is slowing me down given I am in and out of these documents constantly and it is really messing with my flow of work. It covers my document and I have to close it to continue.
Seriously how did anyone approve this? A one off is fine, maybe twice, but I am CONSTANTLY having to close this. Its my work area, not your playground! I am saying this as nicely as possible, but it is valuable feedback.
