Downloading Full Resolution Photos from Creative Cloud

Community Beginner ,

I'm new to Creative Cloud (CC) and only stumbled across it by chance. So please be patient with my lack of knowledge on the system/app. I have historically used other cloud-based services to share my photos with family and friends. I do this as a hobby and not a business, so paying for additional services is not something I'm interested in.

In the other services that I've used, I was able to send a link to a user and they could click on, say, a "Download" button in the corner. This would package all photos in that album and neatly zip them to a compressed folder that they could download, extract, and view. This allowed them to retrieve all full res pictures to their PC and sort as they so desired.

Fast forward to CC. I'm pleasently surprised by how intuitive it is and easy for users to view and download pictures. However, I've run into some issues so I'm curious what can be done (if anything).

1) There is no convenient "Download" option to download all at once. At least not on a mobile device. If one exists on a PC (like my other applications that I used), then I just need to go test that. Does anyone know if that exists?

2) When viewing on a mobile, there are three dots under each pic. If I click on it, it often presents a "Download" option. However, if I click Download it sends to to Files first (on an iPhone), so I have to THEN go into Files and download it again to my Photos. Is this normal? Any way around that? I found if I click View instead of Download on the popup window, I can then save it to Photos...but why not offer the same behavior for both View AND Download? This may be more of an iPhone issue...

3) I have found if I click on a photo first, allow it to show on my mobile, and THEN push and hold, it saves a much lower resolution file (500~ KB) to my mobile. If I click on the three dots first, then Download, then View and THEN push and hold, it saves a much higher res file (10~ MB). Any logic behind this? I've told folks that if they want it for their phone, follow the instructions for low res. If to  keep or print, then follow for high res. Just seems odd.

4) On one particular link that I sent out, the three dots state, "No actions available." So there literally is no download option. If I click on the photo first to then enlarge it on my mobile, there typically would also be three dots next to the name in the upper, left-hand corner. But there isn't. Any reason why it behaves like this on at least this link in CC but not others?

5) Lastly, if a user clicks on a photo to view, then goes back to the main page that has all pics, it starts at the top. This is fine if I send out 5-10. But sometimes I send out 100+. It would be great if it could go back to the section that they were last viewing (i.e., maybe the 32nd picture down the list). Is this possible?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I would like to inform you that currently, you can only download/share one file at a time, and there isn't the ability to batch download files or download folders. Would you mind telling us the version of the Creative Cloud app you're using on your iPhone and the version of  IOS you're on? When I tried to download any Photo through the app, I could click on the share option instead of three dots. Also, after downloading the photo, it goes to the top of the files folder.

Is it possible if you can share the screenshot of the screen when you get the download option? Please ensure you're on the updated version of the Creative Cloud app and the iOS. We're here to help, just some info.

Regards,

Tarun

Apologize for the late response. That's too bad that a user can't download at once. This seems like an easy fix and something that probably should've been included out of the box. It would make it incredibly beneficial for folks who I send links to - in particular those where I include more than, say, five pictures.

I've since removed the link that had no dots (item 4 above), so no screen shot to attach. Sorry.

Any thoughts on items 3 & 5 above?

Looks like I have v6.5 on my iPhone and iOS v 15.4.1. I also have v5.7.1.1 at the moment on my PC.

When I click on the Share option, I see that the behaviors for Quick Export and Download the Original File are pretty much the same - it basically provides a section of where to place the file...but photos is not one of them (item 2 above in my original post). So the Share option seems like just another avenue to accomplish the same thing...but it doesn't really provide a solution.
