New Here ,
May 16, 2025 May 16, 2025

A student at our Business Academy have some files in Adobe Creative Cloud, and she tries to open her files from there, but get the errors:

-Could not open "exam1.psd" because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered in Adobe Photoshop
-Adobe Illustrator The file is not readable.

What can we do about it, if anything?

Hi @kent_4349

As of December 2023, Creative Cloud Synced Files services have been discontinued. It looks like the old synced folder might still be present on your machine. Please try navigating to that folder where the files are saved, copy the files to your Desktop, and check if you’re able to open them.

For more information, you can refer to this help page: https://adobe.ly/43y6OMi

Regards,

Srishti

they can use a web browser to navigate to the following locations. at each location there are several folders/link to check.:

https://assets.adobe.com

https://lightroom.adobe.com

https://documentcloud.adobe.com

https://spark.adobe.com

if you delete anything from any of these locations, check for a deleted folder where your file(s) was (were) moved. if you want to clear space you must delete files in the deleted folder. the used storage shown at each of those four sites (when totaled), should match the space shown used by your cc files.
