External folder not writable

I have updated the permission for the folder located on my external drive.

But when I try to import into this hard drive, the folder does not appear and the import 

does not work due to "External folder not writ

able".

When you post a question you always need to tell the Adobe program you are using
There are MANY programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs

Is the drive formatted NTFS, exFat, or FAT32?

FAT32 doesn't support files larger than 4 GB.
