File sharing / syncing 101

Hi, 

This has no doubt been answered, but I can seem t find anyhting that is probably so simple.

I am looking for a basic intro to syncing files betwen two computers. I use two desktops - one at work and one a home, and I want to have my InDesign files avaialble on both so I can continue to work when at home.
