Hide CC Menu bar Icon on Mac Keep CC Running

I'm using a 2021 MacBook Pro 16" and I'm trying to remove unessential menu bar icons as they are going behind the notch.

Is there a way to hide the CC icon while still having the CC services running in the background? would it make any difference if I prevented CC from loading at startup if I manually checked for updated every so often?

any help is appreciated.

Hi Geoffrey,

Sorry for the delay. Yes, unchecking the preference option to have the Creative Cloud launch at login will prevent it's icon from appearing along the top in menu bar. Any required background processes will continue to run and you'll want to check for updates periodically as you described.

Best,

Dave
