i am swapping computers and need to delete the local versions of my file

hi i have been borrowing a PC to work on my photos.  I now need to give that back and wipe my content from it.  How do i do this WITHOUT losing all the cloud versions?

you'll need to save all synced files somewhere else.  they will be lost from the work computer and adobe's cloud when you clean.  everything else on adobe's cloud servers you can leave alone.  then, either:

 

1.  delete the synced files and empty the trash.

2.  open the cc app > go to cc web files and confirm the synced files have been deleted.  (this could take time.)

3.  change the synced folder in the cc app to somewhere else and then delete your previously synced (now empty) folder

4.  on your computer.sign out of your cc desktop app: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

 

this will leave the cc app and all cc programs still on the computer. or if you want to remove all cc files and your synched files:

 

1.  delete the synced files and empty the trash.

2.  open the cc app > go to cc web files and confirm the synced files have been deleted.  (this could take time.)

3.  uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
4.  uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
5.  clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
