I need help with Creative Cloud Documents from Adobe Max Conference

Aloha, 

I am downloading the demo files from the MaxSessions that go to my synced files but I can't access them through Illustrator or In Design or Photoshop when I'm in there.  I seem to only be able to access Cloud Documents. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

eg, with an ai file, you are unable to open ai and navigate to your sync'd folder and open the ai file?
