Impossible to delete folders in CC on my desktop

My hair starts turning grey...

There is one file in my CC folder on my desktop I want to get rid of. This is because firstly it

just contains a couple of (sub-)folders but all of them are empty and secondly it is marked in red instead of green.
I can easily delete it  by clicking right and delete. It's gone. But only for a few seconds. As soon as CC starts to synchronise the folder comes back again.

So I wanted to delete it on the CC-Assets site in the web. The problem is: it is not there. Neither with the folders/files in use nor with the deleted ones.

So how can I get rid of this folder?
