MAC Can't log in to Creative Cloud account, error "unable to reach servers, Illustrator

Hello, I kept trying to activate missing fonts in Illustrator but it wasn't working. I finally realised that they weren't activating because somehow I was automatically logged out to my creative cloud account. When I tried to log back in, I keep getting the error "Unable to reach servers. Please check your firewall settings, ensure that the time settings on your computer are correct, and try again."
I've restarted the computer many times. I've tried re-downloading and re-installing the app but got the same error message. I've tried ticking and unticking the firewall settings in system preferences. I've checked the proxies and they're all unticked. 
OS MacOS Catalina, version 10.15.6
Illustrator version 24.3
Please help!!!
