Hi

I am a new user of Adobe Premier Rush. Have two laptops running Windows 10. On both PCs we can see that they sync up under the creative cloud files folder that is local. On PC1 we launch the application and it can find the media files on folder. On PC2 we attempt the same and no media files show up. Any hints on what is wrong?

Hi @DugleyDoright,

Thanks for the note. Another thing that can go wrong is your subscription to Rush. Rush Starter Version does not sync between computers. What kind of subscription do you have? Is it a Starter Version or do you have a premium level subscription, CC All subscription, Premiere Pro subscription, or one to Adobe Express? Let us know.

Thanks,

Kevin

No help at all. Different computers, same ID, competely different files on each computer.

Certainly Adobe must have documentation on this problem.

Thanks for responding, I really appreciate your help. To answer your
question:
I have an Adobe Premium CC account which includes all Adobe creative
products. I pay something like $50 or $59 a month. I have no idea what
Vista or other plans are.

I have an iMac at the office, a windows desktop at home and laptop when
traveling. Almost all of my work is office (video production company)
related. I cannot get any of my 3 computers to sync Adobe CC Cloud which
is annoying because I frequently work on projects and shows on all three
computers. Each computer shows different files on the cloud. I have stopped
using the cloud and have resorted to using OneDrive. I still back up to the
cloud, only for emergencies. It would be nice to have all files synced, but
I have no clue how that can happen.

I only have one account. My email login and the Gmail login option are the
same email address. Logging in with one or the other doesn't seem to effect
the syncing problem.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I have not set up my drives to share on
networks. I do see Adobe Cloud appear as a drive in my file folder
directory. When I follow that link, the contents of the Creative Cloud
folder only has one folder (Audition) and a file called "_Cloud documents"
which takes me to assets.adobe.com and shows some old files I created and
saved in Adobe Premiere and saved in my assets to sync with Photoshop.
Those files do not show up in my normal Adobe CC cloud on any computers.

One last thing I tried was to log in to my Adobe Cloud via the browser. I
googled how to do this and I ended up going into Adobe Acrobat, which did
not have any of the hundreds (probably more) work files. It seemed like a
totally new interface just for Acrobat, even though I used my Adobe login
credentials. Now I'm totally confused.

I don't think I'm the only one with this problem because I Googled ways to
solve it and see that others are not able to sync as well. But I'm sure it
is user error and I would like to find some documentation to show the
pipeline, flow chart and directions of setting up the cloud. Obviously when
I started my account, I screwed up and did not connect my devices at the
very beginning. Who knew it would be an issue.

Adobe has great software, I just wish their syncing capabilities were cut
and dry. They managed to create a system that knows which computer you are
on, it would be nice if they included Check Boxes for each computer with
Sync and you had a choice of which computers to sync to. I found the place
to pause and restart syncing, which I tried. That was suggested by a
website, but it did not fix my problem. It says I'm synced...yet, I'm not
synced.

If you can make heads of tails of what I'm doing wrong, that would be
great.
Doug

Hey @DugleyDoright,

Thanks for the note. Sorry about the hassle. I can relate to your problem. I found that Rush and Premiere Pro sync worked more reliably when One Drive was turned off for those apps. It sounds like you already have been down that road, though.

Have you tried contacting assisted support for this issue. They might be able to help. Ask for the video queue here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

Hope we can assist you better there.

Thanks,

Kevin
