Garcia, do the files become damaged every time the computer is rebooted? What version of Mac OS is installed on the computer?

Thanks, Garcia.  Please check the settings for any applications or processes that are occurring when the computer reboots.  Apple has information on how to find this setting at https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-items-automatically-when-you-log-in-mh15189/10.14/mac/... the process is fairly similar for Mac OS 10.13.6.

Misconfigured security and disk optimization software are two common causes of file damage, but anything that has the ability to modify files, and is performing the task during the startup process, is a suspect.
