question about Photoshop Photography plan and cloud storage

Hi, 

I have currently Photoshop photography plan with 20gb, My question is : I have a desktop pc and I'm willing to buy a macbook, let's say I'm working on a PSD file in the desktop and I want to shut down the desktop to continue my work in the macbook, Can I upload the PSD file to the '20gb cloud storage' and then download it to the laptop through creative cloud app and continue the work ? Is that possible ?

I know this is kind of a basic question, but I just want to make sure before getting the macbook,
