Restore CC-Files from old disk

New Here ,
Jun 13, 2017 Jun 13, 2017

Hey guys,

I just upgraded my Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. After downloading and installing the Adobe products, I saw that my Creative Cloud folder was empty. Browsed on the web and to my surprise, nothing was synchronized with the cloud on my Windows 8.1.

Luckily I have a file backup of my old disk and would like to restore those files. Can someone give me the path to the file location (on the disk) for all the Creative Cloud files found in the explorer?

Thanks for helping.

Hey David__B,

unfortunately this was not the case.

I found them in my current users directory, where a seperate folder was created, called "Creative Cloud Files (archived) (1)"

e.g.: C:\Users\<username>\Creative Cloud Files (archived) (1)

Hope this helps others that upgrade from Win8.1 to Win10

Hi Wenga,

The Creative Cloud files folder is stored in the User directory

There should be a Creative Cloud Files folder in this directory

C:\Users\<your user name>
