Adobe is discontinuing access to the service from our website and Brackets extension.
I love this service. Extract works great, It totally useful. Very good tool.
And they are going to kill it. Why? Are they crazy?

It's a shame that Adobe only thinks about making more money regardless of what the users want. They decided this knowing that every developer loved the tool because they didn't have to spend so much money on this, and they think we will buy a full license to be able to use the same tool... or maybe we'll just stop using adobe at all and look for something else?

I concur with whats being said here. Its is a sad day for developers. If anything, they should've kept the tool alive and allowed for professionals to pay for it. Photoshop is nowhere near the usability of the web tool. Its definitively a loss for the community.

2 Steps backwards for Adobe. Another green flag for Sketch.
The export feature within photoshop is not the same as the online extract feature. How do you check sizes or measurements?
Fail!

Was shocked to find this functionality removed today. We used this feature constantly and it made both our designers and devs lives much simpler. This is a popular work flow for many professionals.
Why on earth would you do this Adobe???
Please bring this back ASAP.

Very disappointed in Adobe's decision to remove this functionality and to do it with no notice.

They gave us some 30 days notice (the tool showed a popup message at some point). However, it is utterly silly to remove such a great tool instead of perhaps just make it a paid service.

Respectfully, 30 days is not enough notice when making a change that potentially affects your customer's workflow in a dramatic way.

I can't believe it. There's no other alternative for developers that use Linux????

Im front end developer who used this tool every day. I work in Ubuntu. So this was my only way how to work happily with PSDs. Shame on you Adobe.
