Se apaga la pantalla o se cuelga mientras trabjo

Le amplie la memoria ram pero persiste el problema. Mientras trabajo, aparte de estar muy lenta, no me deja abrir mas de dos imagenes, y si sigo trabajando se apaga la pantalla (la notebook sigue prendida) o se cuelga y tengo que apagarla. Agradezco su ayuda.
