Hello, I am a visual artist and am going crazy trying to figure out digital sizing, pixels etc for exhibit requirements. The requirements are supposed to be under 4 MB, 72 ppi, and suggest at least 1920 pixels on longest side. When I upload it it keeps saying it is too big? The image size box tells me it is 400.8k 300 pixels by 456 pixels, 4.167 inches x 6.333inches high, and 72 ppi. How do I get this correct.

Thanks,

Moira

You need to create a larger image.

If it's a scan or photograph of an actual canvas, you'll need to reduce the image size in Photoshop.

Use File > Export > Export As > JPG at whatever is a proportionally reasonable image size to achieve a max file size under 4 MB.   See screenshot.

Reduce quality to reduce file size.   Scroll down and select Metadata: None; Color Space: Convert to sRGB.

That should get you where you need to be.

Hope that helps.  Happy New Year!
