Sync turns itself off immediately when I enable it

Since the upgrade file sync turns itself off almost immediately when I turn it on. Some syncing is happening - Typekit seems to be working and some backup files are on the cloud list. But every time I launch CC the file syncing is set to off. When I turn it on the indicator stays on but I get a notification (a quick balloon) that sync is off. On restart it is always disabled. I'm on Win7 and in the previous release the auto cloud backup in Premiere would always reset to off. I do not see a place to upload a file, but I see that log files are being generated with a number of error messages. Here is a portion:

I replaced the adobe_id above with x's - not sure if that would be readable

After the procedure described I see no difference - still getting the same error

Deleted the CoreSync directory mentioned in the previous link and let the CC app create a new one. Working fine now.
