I haven't used any Adobe apps for a few years.
I unintalled the apps I had - PS and IA using their uninstallers.
I have no other Adobe apps installed except for Creative Cloud.
When I try to uninstall it I get this message:
"Couldn't uninstall Creative Cloud for Desktop. You still have Creative Cloud applications installed on your computer that require it."
The reason I want to uninstall it is because it keeps spinning up the Adobe Content Synchronizer Helper - sometimes hundreds are running at the same time.

follow each step that you can:
uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
