So I'm using my university's CC and its working fine I can use photshop perfectly well. When i check on the cc it says that illustrator works on this device, it installed well and then when i open it it always gives me thsi error:

@38456352uxdh I know exacty the issue as I teach at a higher education level too.
go to adobe.com. but, instead of typing in your school or email address, just type in schoolemail.domain (for example, I teach at BCIT, so it would be bcit.ca) . I have attached a small bit for you what I mean. From our IT department, because Adobe CC is part of our program, and the school email addresses were used, this is how we access our Adobe apps.

@38456352uxdh after you enter your school domain name, it likely take you back to the school's portal. enter your log in credientials and password. and hopefully that works on your end.
If it doesn't work, then I strongly suggest touching base with your IT department at school before heading to Adobe support team as school's subscriptions is quite different from business/enterprises/personal subcriptions. I should know as I went from a personal to a school subscription and had a smiliar issue...hence the video (my students get a longer version of it)

even tho I use my school email it still redirects me to the school login page just like your method. and also photoshop is working fine it doesnt give this error. So idk what the issue is
