What is the difference between Files in Adobo Creative Cloud and 'Adobe Acrobat Documents'

New Here ,
Oct 01, 2023 Oct 01, 2023

I'm totallly confused. All my PDF documents in https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents are NOT shown in https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/documents/files/

Can someone explain the difference?

Also, when I upload a PDF document to 'Cloud documents' It says that this type of file is not allowed...

adobe's file solution is really an amalgamation of several different solutions, and they are almost unrelated to each other.

cloud documents: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/cloud-document-faqs.html

document cloud: https://www.adobe.com/documentcloud.html

===================================================in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Thanks @kglad

Do you or anybody knows why I don't see the online storage (neither the Adobo Creative Cloud, nor the 'Adobe Acrobat Documents') in my desktop app? Is it something my IT department could prevent?

if you have a teams or enterprise subscription, your admin can prevent you from using cc storage altogether.

ie, contact your admin to see what limitations (if any) are in place.

but the best way to check cc files is to use a web browser to navigate to the following locations. at each location there are several folders/links to check.:

https://assets.adobe.com

https://lightroom.adobe.com

https://documentcloud.adobe.com

https://spark.adobe.com

if you delete anything from any of these locations, check for a deleted folder where your file(s) was (were) moved. if you want to clear space you must delete files in the deleted folder.

the used storage shown at each of those four sites (when totaled), should match the space shown used by your cc files.
