Why are there 162 "Core Sync Helper" processes showing in Activity Monitor?

On Mac OS Big Sur 11.3.1 I notice multiple instances of several "Processes". Among them is the Adobe CC "Core Sync Helper" with 162 instances. Is this normal? If not, how can it be prevented?
