Will renaming individual assets break any links within a document?

When dragging assets out of the cc library panel in PS (without holding option on Mac), the asset has a cloud icon in the layers panel.  Looks like this creates a link to the asset in the cc library.

Question is the same as the title - will renaming individual assets within the cc library (either in the panel itself or in the web version) break any cc library assset links within a document?

Thanks so much!

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I want to inform you that if you rename the library from the Creative Cloud Desktop Application or from assets.adobe.com, it will not affect the files. The updated name will be reflected on all the Adobe applications. Also, it will not make any changes to the file or the document on which you imported the links from the CC library.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun
