From my last question of " one time payment", I stopped searching for free adobe applications.
I again searched for adobe because of my teacher who installed adobe CC CS2 suite in her windows 7 laptop.
I saw some websites which says this
1) " CS2 is free to use. "
2) " CS2 is officially not free to download. But it may be used for the old adobe users. "
3) " CS2 is legally free for all users. "
My question is
Which one is right? Which one is fake news? Is CS 2 really free? Or only for old users with original product keys?
Please reply
>only for old users with original product keys?
That WAS true... but Adobe has now completely removed all CS2 (and CS3) install programs
No.
New users who have never paid for CS2 or CS3 have never been entitled to use any of those those versions: activation or non-activation.
Until last year, Adobe made non-activation (not free) versions available to existing users who had paid for the software. They have now removed links to the non-activation versions entirely.

I edited the thread title to fix that.
