Hello, I made my own portfoliowebsite in Adobe. Now I want to install a visitors counter.

Is this possible and how do I do it ? I have no IT experience.

Thanks for your reactions.

Even if you could add a visitors counter (which you can't), that's the last thing you want on your website.

A much better option and one that's readily supported by Portfolio is FREE Google Analytics.  Add your unique GA Tracking code to your Portfolio site.  See link below for details.

Hope that helps.

You won't.  Hit counters are a total waste of time.  They offer no meaningful statistics about site traffic or where it comes from or what devices people use.

As previously stated, use Google Analytics with your Portfolio site.
