Hello Comm!

I have to convince my companys CEO to let us collegues use the CCs at home. So our CEO wants to know:

Are there any security options in the CC file-storage sync, to prevent users from dragging viruses, encrypters and malware into company network?

Btw: The gfx-department is all Mac, how are the odds to infect a network behind a mac?

Your network security will catch that as it will catch anything that enters as e-mail. The best protection against all stuff entering the corporate network is user education and regular scans of the network. I do not think that Adobe scans the network to detect malicient code. You can, however, lock out the cloud network, if you want.

BTW: you should cut off all means of outside communications. History has proven that most security reasons are the users, including and especially the CEOs.

Can you explain this a bit? Im not the IT guy

Our company is mainly Windows driven, uses SAP, PCs USB is deactivated. Our servers are backuped well. Were behind a proxy when accessing the internet, most Filetransfer-services are blocked (Adobe CC is whitelisted). Our Mailclient is within LotusNotes, secured with a quarantaine thing.

We do not use as many licenses of CC that the enterprise solution is in sight, so what does that mean for blocking Adobe cloud service? Is that by Proxy or can the team-ID IT guy help out?

You should shut down cloud access then if you are so paranoiac about security. To get outside, you need to unlock the door.

Pass this list to your IT security guys and let them decide what to block: Adobe Creative Cloud Network Endpoints

Depending on their decision, you may be unable to use CC to it's full extent.
