Perhaps, in a Mac, can I move the creative cloud folder to an external hard drive an place a Symbolic Link in the default location?

Hi D2F1,

In the Creative Cloud preferences (from the Gear icon in the top right) in the Files section is an option to specify a different location for the Creative Cloud folder. You might try that.

You need to let the sync happen then go to preferences and assign a folder in the drop down menu under 'install location'

Then sign out and quit the CC app.

Move the folder from Macintosh HD>users>your-name to the location you specified then re-open the app and sign in.

This has just worked for me

Sorry but it didn't work. I hadn't logged back in. When I did the folder on my external drive had the various apps in it but I had to restore the folder on my hard drive.
