Hi,

I have been using creative cloud for a while now and everything has been working fine. Then the other day I went into the creative cloud app on my desktop and could no longer see my files. The person who i am sharing the files with can still see them on his computer but i can only see them when i click "view on web" in the assets section of the creative cloud drop down.

Do you know why this has happened? and how i can resolve it?

Amy

Hi,

this issue could be what your seeing. Please check to see if you have 2 Creative Cloud folders.

ANNOUNCEMENT:"Creative Cloud Files (unknown)” folder created with 1.9.1.474 update

by David Baxter (April 3, 2015)EditAnnouncement "Creative Cloud Files (unknown)” folder created with 1.9.1.474 updateExpireDelete

With the recent update of the Creative Cloud Desktop app (1.9.1.474) we unfortunately introduced a bug which causes the creation of a new Creative Cloud Files folder, and re-sync of all content. This will only occur the first time the sync application runs  after the update. This has caused understandable pain and confusion, for which we truly apologise.

We have taken steps to ensure we increase our focus on quality in this area to prevent a recurrence.

Once sync has completed, you will have a “Creative Cloud Files (unknown)” folder. This is because the sync application moves your Creative Cloud Files folder to this location prior to the fresh sync. You should be free to delete this folder if you have no pending edits waiting to be sync’d to the cloud.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at syncforum-communication@adobe.com

Again, let me say we are sorry for any inconvenience caused
